Records show that the Earth first saw flying machines in the twentieth century. But what about the evidence of ancient rockers and space travel technology? What if space exploration had already started before? Read on to learn more about the lost history of the world.
The first rocket from the 16th century
The Sibiu Manuscript, or Haas Manuscript, is a 450-page document found in 1961. This ancient manuscript was found by a professor from the University of Bucharest in the archives of the Romanian City of Sibiu. And it contains the blueprints for a rocket capable of reaching space.
Ancient space ships and rockets from antiquity and the Middle Ages have led to the development of our current space program.
Little is known about the origins of human space exploration. Evidence for the earliest form of human rocketry has been found in ancient Egypt and China. This includes a stone slab from around 600 BCE from a temple in Baalbek, Lebanon that depicts Pharaoh Thutmose III’s daughter holding what some experts believe to be a rocket or missile.
The first mention of ancient space travel might come from an old Chinese story, which tells of three men coming down to earth on flying dragons after being cast up into the air by an explosion on a magnificent rock in the sky called Tien Pien (or “Heavenly Ston”).
However, these are believed to be misidentifications or fabrications, and not accounts of historical events.
During the 13th and 14th centuries, a rocket propelled by an explosive powder was developed in Europe.
The first American rockets were created by Robert H. Goddard.
A type of active rocket engine, a chemical reaction between fuel and an oxidizer produces hot gas which is passed through a rocket nozzle to create thrust. Rockets differ from other engines in that they carry their own supply of both fuel and oxidizer on board the aircraft prior to use.
Many explorers like Christopher Columbus have used rockets as their main means of propulsion to explore new worlds.
Many people assume that rockets came into being as soon as humans could master fire and metals – but this is not true at all! It took about 600 years for the earliest modern rockets to take off! During the 13th and 14th centuries, a rocket-propelled by an explosive powder was developed in Europe. The first American rockets were created by Robert H. Goddard – he is known as “the father
This German manuscript from the 16th century describes rocket science in detail, complete with drawings and calculations. It even contains the plans for a three-stage manned space rocket. However, the liquid fuel it would use is something we haven’t seen before.
Imitation Control Panel
The Leiden Museum of Antiquities currently holds an Egyptian artifact from 4500 years ago. This has been in their hands since the 1820s, possibly coming from the Fifth Dynasty of Pharaohs. Unfortunately, the location where the discoverer found it has not been recorded, and no other antiques similar to this have been found.
This massive alabaster tablet, weighing almost 75 kilograms, has round holes and embossed dial-like protrusions. On the surface, it is filled with hieroglyphs. Several people have noted its similarity to control panels found on modern aircraft and suspect it belongs to an even older civilization.
With all the myths stating aliens and deities coming to Earth in the past, people believe this is part of a starship that once visited our planet. Or, even more exciting, it’s a spare for starships made by ancient Earthlings for their own space travels.
Artis Magnae Artilleriae Pars Prima Rocket Designs
Before the Haas Manuscripts, people believed that the idea for creating a three-stage rocket came from Kazimir Semenovich. He published the Artis Magnae Artilleriae Pars Prima, describing the plans for rocket construction.
However, the ideas shown in this book are similar to the Sibiu manuscripts. Therefore, some assume that Semenovich plagiarized his predecessor. On the other hand, some people think they got their information from the same source.
There are things we do not know about our history and even more things that are hidden from us by groups with different agendas. For now, all we can do is speculate with the information available.
